HAPPY NEW YEAR to all visitors to the site...my apologies for not updating for a while..personal circumstances have made it difficult but i'll post something very soon.Continued health and happiness to all who drop by and here's to peace breaking out in 2010 for a change.

A very Happy New Year to all visitors to the site and let's hope 2009 is a kinder year for all compared to how 2008 finished up.We are in stormy waters globally without a doubt and in a sense we are also in unexplored territory in terms of the financial /job situation worldwide.
Fingers crossed that wise heads will prevail and we'll get back to what's important in life as well as dissipate some of the naked greed that has fuelled the last decade or so.Sometimes a shock to the system is what's needed to wake us all up but we don't want to spook the horse to the extent it keels over !
With the new financial pressures in mind we're dropping the price of remaining copies of Vol 1 of the Louder Than The Drums Of War CD to €10 + p+p.
The previous price was in keeping with more stable and solid economic times so its best we generate whatever we can in the present circumstances.Either way its all going to a positive place and any amount ,however small, will help.You can obtain copies on the AWARE website for €12 including p+ p or pick up a copy at reception in their offices at 72 Lower Leeson St Dublin 2...it's also available at the Irish Red Cross office reception area at 16 Merrion Square Dublin 2

Hi everyone, the CD is up and running and the feedback is extremely positive.Word of mouth is selling the CD and people love the variety on it.John Creedon over on RTE 1 (LATE DATE) is giving it great airplay and mentions ,thanks John.Its also been sent to other stations around the country and we hope they'll support us.
The CD is now available to buy on the Aware website ...www.aware.ie..

Also LA now has An Artists for Healing organisation which is non profit and involved in raising money for charities.It was set up by singer/songwriter Brandon Schott and we've chatted on the phone and agree there cant be enough groups working towards the same goals.Best of luck Brandon and lets hope it inspires similar non profit groups to follow suit in other cities and countries.

"Louder Than the Drums of War-Vol.1" is the very first project under the banner of Artists for Healing and the proceeds from it are going to two organisations: Aware www.aware.ie and the Red Cross www.redcross.ie
The creative contributions of the artists involved with the project are stunning and their generosity of spirit has been both humbling and educational in turn. I’ve also been completely knocked out by the practical, very real support and goodwill of so many others in putting the project together.

One man in particular, (you know who you are), I’m especially grateful to for putting his money where our mouths were and by doing so made it possible to finish the project a lot sooner in a very real and tangible way. Thanks again for the act of faith in us.

I hope you will support us by buying the CD and enjoy what it has to offer and every bit helps, every CD bought will add both to the energy and the practical side of what we are trying to do.

There are links on this site and on the CD sleeve to all the individual artist’s websites and please take time to visit with them and check them out. They’re all very creative and extremely talented people and well deserving of support.
